A small area at the southern and eastern sides of Birch
Hill was built more recently and has properties in a distinctly
different style.
A reminder of how the area once looked is found in the
three narrow lanes (now footpaths) which link Ringmead with Nine
Mile Ride, such as Gormoor Ride.
Two of the towns leisure attractions are found along
Nine Mile Ride, on the edge of Birch Hill.
Coral Reef is a modern leisure pool, which also offers a steam
room and saunas.
The Look Out is in the edge of Windsor Forest and is a
visitor centre for the forest and a science discovery centre
for children.
