The neighbourhood of Crown Wood is on the south eastern
side of Bracknell. The ring road serving Crown Wood is Opladen
Way, named after one of Bracknell's twin towns. |
Feeding many residential streets as it does, traffic on Opladen
Way can often be heavy. |
The local shopping centre for Crown Wood is in Crown Row.
Also here are a doctor's surgery, dentist, Community Centre,
primary school and pub. |
Being one of the newer neighbourhoods in Bracknell, the
houses are of a smaller design than is typical of Bracknell,
and are mostly timber framed with brick external walls. |
In some of the streets, the tall pine trees that give the
neighbourhood its name still stand between the houses. |
The majority of the houses are without garages, but on
and off street parking is available. |
