The older cottages also remain at the eastern end of Binfield Road, although this pleasant corner soon gives way to the roundabouts and tower blocks of the town centre..
On the north eastern side of Binfield Road, Shepherds Lane forms the main road through the neighbourhood.
The pleasant and open atmosphere of Priestwood continues through this area.
Bracknell Methodist Church stands in Shepherds Lane, a position they were offered early in the redevelopment of Bracknell, when their old home in the High Street had to be demolished.
Shepherds Lane joins onto Bull Lane at its eastern end. The Sandy Lane Primary School, Garth Hill School and part of Bracknell College have sites between here and Warfield Road.
The car park in Albert Road is on the edge of Priestwood, but provides very easy access to the town centre via an underpass. The car park is sometimes used for car boot sales, and is closed on market days for the traders to park their vehicles.
