| The Town Centre in Bracknell is the pedestrianised Shopping Centre. The majority of the old town centre was destroyed in the 1960's when Bracknell New Town was developed. The Band Stand is in High Street, a centre point in the pedestrian zone. |
| Heading east along High Street are the Banks and the Post Office. |
| The Post Office is one of the buildings to have survived the 1960's redevelopment, although it has now been threatened with closure for some time. |
| The double post box outside the Post Office is a recent addition, replacing posting boxes that were previously inside the Post Office. |
| A little further on, a mural in one of the town's many underpasses shows how the High Street may once have looked. Many of the town's underpasses have such murals, which add some life and colour and reduce vandalism. |
| Another building to have survived the Town Centre redevelopment is the Old Manor public house. The Old Manor boasts tales of Highwaymen, secret tunnels and a Priest Hole. |
