The original hunting grounds known as the Wild Ridings are now occupied by the Southern Industrial area. The neighbourhood in Bracknell that inherited its name, lies a little to the east. Wildridings overlooks Mill Lane
The Mill Pond lies between Wildridings and the dual carriageway that Mill Lane has become. The site of the former mill is believed to be near where the boathouse now stands. The Mill Pond boathouse
The Mill Pond harbours a wide variety of animal and plant life, such as these bluebells, which appeared in abundance in 2002. An abundance of Bluebells
The open water of the Mill Pond is a popular spot with anglers. Open water of Mill Pond
